ALLOTMENT Status 5B Area
5B Allotment – I broke down the two large mounds of compost. Removed weeds and larger stick bits that had not broken down and placed in the 6B Compost containers.
I removed the rather large parsnip.
Note: The smaller compost heap on 5B was ant infested. The ant nest was destroyed as best I could, having been bitten many times.

Work outstanding:
Two large compost heaps created before you left, need breaking down. Compost and weeds to be split.
I have placed much compost from 6B (Compost heap that was overflowing in the centre) onto this plot. Currently seen i the images as small piles and to be spread over the ground during the next visit.

The purpose of the blue container is to show the amount of weeds. I was pleasantly surprised that there were so few.
